Influencing Skills Training

This module provides participants with the knowledge and tools they need to positively influence others in the workplace. Employees who participate in this program develop a five-step plan for influencing individuals and practice the following skills of attentiveness and flexibility:

• Listening
• Pacing
• Mirroring
• Inquiry
• Diagnosis and summary

Benefits—Influencing skills are necessary in the workplace for accomplishing tasks and achieving goals. The influence process is used to impact others to achieve positive results. This module introduces influencing techniques, which will help participants understand the motives and hidden desires of others, regardless of what is said.
